ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective a telerehabilitation program is for people recovering from an ankle fracture. Telerehabilitation means that patients can do their rehabilitation exercises at home using smartphones or other devices, instead of going to a hospital for in-person sessions. The researchers want to find out if this method helps patients regain their ability to move and improves their overall quality of life compared to traditional hospital rehabilitation.

To participate, patients should be beneficiaries of the IMSS healthcare system and have recently been treated for a specific type of ankle fracture. They must also be able to use a smartphone with internet access. Participants will have monthly check-ins at the hospital for three months to see how they are doing, and a follow-up call at six months. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, and it aims to help improve recovery options for ankle fracture patients.
