ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the BOPEC-MG study, is focused on understanding how general practitioners (GPs) manage burnout, both in themselves and in their patients. Burnout is a serious issue that affects many workers, including healthcare professionals, and it can make it harder for them to provide effective care. The study aims to identify the different factors that influence how GPs deal with burnout, which can vary widely from one doctor to another. By doing this, researchers hope to improve the way GPs support patients who are suffering from burnout and help them return to work more effectively.
To be eligible for this study, GPs must be practicing in the northwestern region of France and regularly prescribe sick leave for their patients. However, GPs who focus exclusively on alternative medicine, like homeopathy, are not eligible to participate. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those involved can expect to share their experiences and insights about managing burnout in their practice. This research is important because it aims to enhance the understanding of burnout management in general practice, ultimately benefiting both GPs and their patients.
