ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying cerebral palsy (CP), a condition that affects movement and can also impact communication, learning, and emotions in children. The goal of the study is to gather important information about how common different types of CP are and how severe the related challenges can be. Researchers will collect data from at least 300 children and teenagers aged 4 to 18 years who have been diagnosed with CP. This will help create a better understanding of the condition and improve future care and treatment options.

To be eligible for the study, children must have a confirmed diagnosis of CP based on recent guidelines. Participants will not need to undergo any new tests or treatments beyond their usual clinical visits, and their information will be collected through a secure digital platform. Parents can voluntarily allow their child's participation and will also receive updates on related clinical studies. This research is essential as it aims to fill gaps in knowledge about CP and support ongoing national projects focused on early detection and intervention.
