ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to improve pain management for women after they have a cesarean section (C-section). Many patients experience severe pain after this surgery, which can slow down their recovery. In this study, researchers are trying a new way to manage pain by using a combination of different techniques, including a local anesthetic applied to the wound, a specific nerve block, and a medication given right after the baby is born. They want to see if these methods help reduce pain in the first 24 hours after the surgery.
To participate in this trial, women must be 18 years or older and scheduled for a planned C-section under spinal anesthesia. They also need to speak and read Danish and have a mobile phone that can receive text messages. Participants will be asked to answer questions about their pain through an online survey after their surgery. This study is important because it aims to provide better pain relief for new mothers, helping them recover more comfortably and quickly.
