Urine Output Spinal Anesthesia Mean Arterial Pressure

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how urine output is affected during spinal anesthesia, which is a type of pain relief used during surgery. The researchers want to understand the connection between urine output and blood pressure, specifically looking at mean arterial pressure (MAP). They will also measure hemoglobin levels and urine output while using a solution called Ringer's to help manage fluids during anesthesia. The goal is to gather important information that could lead to better fluid management practices during surgeries.

To participate in this study, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older and able to give written consent. However, some people may not be eligible, especially if they have certain medical conditions that make spinal anesthesia unsafe, such as severe bleeding disorders or certain heart problems. If you join the trial, you can expect to have your blood pressure and urine output monitored during your procedure, which will help researchers learn more about how to improve patient care during anesthesia.
