ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special core strengthening program can improve the athletic performance of amateur football players aged 18 to 35. The study will involve two groups of players: one group will do their regular football training along with a 12-week core strength program, while the other group will just continue with their usual training and matches. The goal is to see if the players who do the extra core training perform better in key fitness tests, like balance and agility, which are important for preventing injuries and improving overall performance on the field.
To participate, players must be male, between 18 and 35 years old, and active members of local football clubs. They should be in good health and cleared by a doctor to play football. Those who are already doing core strengthening exercises or have injuries that could affect their participation won’t be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo fitness assessments before and after the training program to measure any improvements. This research will help us understand if focusing on core strength can really make a difference for amateur footballers.
