ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how to improve menstrual hygiene awareness and practices among women living in slum communities in Karachi. The goal is to help women feel more comfortable and confident in managing their periods, while also reducing the stigma and misconceptions around menstruation. By educating women about proper menstrual hygiene, the study aims to empower them and reduce the risk of health issues related to poor hygiene practices.
To participate in this study, women aged 15 to 45 who use reusable menstrual products and are willing to take part voluntarily are encouraged to join. Unfortunately, women who have serious health conditions or do not live in slum areas of Karachi cannot participate. Those who join can expect to learn valuable information about menstrual health, which can lead to better hygiene practices and a more supportive community environment around menstruation. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to create positive change in the lives of women in these communities.
