ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called Ganyan-1, is looking into a new treatment for people suffering from dry eye disease (DED), which can cause discomfort and irritation. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help adults aged 18 to 70 who have experienced dry eye symptoms for at least six months. To be eligible, participants must have specific test results indicating a significant lack of tears and other related issues.
If you qualify for this study, you can expect to undergo several tests to evaluate your dry eye condition. This may include measuring how long it takes for your tears to break up and assessing your eye's surface health. It's important to note that individuals with certain health conditions, such as autoimmune diseases or active eye infections, won't be able to participate. Overall, this trial aims to find better ways to treat dry eyes and improve the quality of life for those affected.
