ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special program called Global Postural Reeducation (RPG) using the K-Stretch hammock can help people who have neck and lower back discomfort from sitting at work. The goal is to see if this approach improves their posture, reduces discomfort, increases flexibility, and enhances their overall quality of life, including their stress and sleep quality. The research is taking place at San Jorge University and involves 32 staff members aged 19 to 65 who spend most of their day sitting.
To participate, you need to be an administrative or technical staff member at the university, over 18 years old, and have some neck or lower back discomfort that isn't due to a specific medical condition. Participants will take part in a 6-week program with 30-minute sessions every other week. The study will compare how participants feel and their physical abilities before and after the program. This research could lead to better ways to support workers' health and comfort in their jobs.
