ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of bowel preparation before minimally invasive robotic gynecologic surgery. In this study, some participants will be asked to complete a bowel preparation, which may include an enema, while others will not have to do this. The researchers want to see how bowel preparation affects things like how clearly the surgeons can see during the operation, how easily they can handle the bowel, and overall ease of the surgery. They will also look at how comfortable and satisfied the patients feel with their experience.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be female, at least 18 years old, and scheduled for minimally invasive robotic gynecologic surgery. They should be willing to follow the instructions for bowel preparation if chosen for that group and be able to read and understand English. The study is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should be ready to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the research.
