ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well the information provided to parents during antenatal consultations matches their experiences after childbirth. Specifically, it aims to understand if the details shared with expectant mothers about their baby's potential health issues are accurate and helpful once the baby is born. The study is currently recruiting participants who are mothers between the ages of 65 and 74, who have attended at least one prenatal consultation with a pediatric specialist and whose babies were born and needed care in the neonatology department between January 2020 and December 2022.
To participate, mothers need to have attended these consultations and must have given birth during the specified time frame. However, those whose babies faced severe health risks or who were minors at the time of the study cannot take part. Participants in this study can expect to fill out a questionnaire about the information they received during their prenatal visits and how it matched their experiences after childbirth. This research is important because it could help improve the quality of information given to parents in the future, ensuring they feel better prepared and supported during and after their pregnancy.
