ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how using a device called oscillating PEP (Positive Expiratory Pressure) can improve the quality of life for patients with bronchiectasis, a condition that affects the lungs. The study aims to see how this device helps both children (ages 8 and up) and adults who are stable and not currently experiencing severe symptoms. Researchers want to understand how using the oscillating PEP impacts daily life before and after its use.
To participate, individuals must be at least 8 years old and have been diagnosed with bronchiectasis but are not currently using the oscillating PEP device. Those who are not stable, are under 8 years old, or have other uncontrolled health issues won't be eligible. Participants can expect to be part of follow-up consultations where their quality of life will be assessed before and after using the device. This study is actively recruiting participants, and it’s a great opportunity for those looking to potentially improve their daily living with bronchiectasis.
