ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at an online program designed to help working women who are going through perimenopause, a time when hormonal changes can lead to symptoms like hot flashes and mood swings. The aim is to see if a brief online physical activity group—combined with supportive conversations to motivate participants—can help these women become more active and manage their symptoms better. Researchers will measure how easy it is to recruit participants, how many women stick with the program, and whether they find it helpful and enjoyable.
To join this study, participants must be female, currently working full-time (about 35 hours or more per week), and experiencing perimenopausal symptoms. They should also be physically inactive, meaning they’re not getting the recommended amount of exercise (150 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity each week). Women who are interested will be randomly assigned to either the online activity group or a control group, and they’ll be asked to complete some questionnaires and keep a log of their physical activity throughout the trial. This study is currently recruiting, and it’s a great opportunity for those who fit the criteria to explore ways to improve their health and well-being during this transitional phase of life.
