ClinConnect Summary
The RISE for Nurse Preceptors trial is a study aimed at understanding how a specific program can help nurse preceptors feel less burned out and more empowered in their jobs. This program focuses on improving mental well-being, resilience, and self-compassion among nurses who train new staff. By participating, nurse preceptors may find they have better tools to manage stress and enhance their personal and professional lives.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old, hold a nursing license, and work for AdventHealth in the Rocky Mountain Region. They should have completed preceptor training and have taught for at least 48 hours in the past year. Participants will need to be comfortable with speaking, reading, and understanding English. If you qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to engage in activities that could help improve your overall well-being as a healthcare worker.
