ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on creating a library of videos and images from complete and partial endoscopy procedures, specifically for patients dealing with colon polyps or rectal cancer. The aim is to use this library to build advanced computer programs—known as artificial intelligence (AI)—that can help doctors automatically check and report the quality of their endoscopy procedures. Additionally, this project will provide valuable educational tools for medical trainees to improve their skills in performing endoscopies.

To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old and scheduled for a type of endoscopy, which is a procedure that allows doctors to look inside the digestive tract. However, those with certain health conditions, such as severe bleeding risks or poor overall health, may not be eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to a significant advancement in how endoscopy procedures are evaluated and taught, which could ultimately improve patient care. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and everyone is welcome to apply, regardless of gender.
