ClinConnect Summary
The Thrive Initiative Parent-Education Programming Study is looking at how well different ways of delivering parenting education help families. Specifically, it will compare two methods: one that combines online learning with group meetings (called hybrid) and another that is entirely online. The program includes four different courses for parents with children at various ages, from babies up to teenagers. The goal is to see which method is more effective in supporting families and improving child well-being.
To participate in this study, you must be a United States Air Force service member or a dependent of one, and you need to be a parent or caregiver of a child aged 0-18 years. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have access to the technology needed to take part in the program. If you join, you will be randomly assigned to either the hybrid or online-only group, and you’ll need to be comfortable communicating in English. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information to help improve parenting resources for military families.
