ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different distraction methods can help young children, aged 3 to 6 years, feel more comfortable while they receive inhaler therapy in the emergency department for breathing problems. The goal is to see if things like toys, games, or videos can make the experience less stressful for these little ones when they are needing treatment for respiratory illnesses.
To be part of this study, children must be between 3 and 6 years old, have no mental health issues, and come to the emergency department for breathing difficulties. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it starts, parents can expect their children to engage in fun distractions while receiving their inhaler treatment. This study is important because it aims to find better ways to help young children cope with medical procedures, making their experience a little easier.
