ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how much force women with fibromyalgia use when gripping things with their fingers, compared to healthy women. The researchers want to understand if this force is related to the fatigue that many fibromyalgia patients experience. This study is currently recruiting participants who are female and between the ages of 18 and 70 years old, as long as they have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to perform some tasks to measure your grip strength. It's important to note that this trial is only for women who haven't changed their treatment in the past month and do not have any other conditions affecting their arms or hands, like certain nerve issues or recent surgeries. Overall, this study aims to provide better insights into how fibromyalgia affects muscle strength and fatigue, which could help improve care for patients in the future.
