ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled the "Practice of Nutrition Package in Myanmar," is looking to help children and teenagers aged 7 to 15 who are struggling with malnutrition. The main goal of the study is to see if a special Nutrition Package, which includes nutritious food and possibly probiotics (good bacteria for your gut), can improve their growth and overall health. Researchers will compare the effects of this Nutrition Package, both with and without probiotics, to no treatment at all, to find out which approach is the most effective and safe.
To participate in this trial, children and teenagers need to live in the area for over a year and be between 7 and 15 years old. However, those with severe health issues, such as certain diseases or disabilities, may not be eligible. If chosen for the study, participants will receive the Nutrition Package for six months. Throughout this time, their height, weight, and other health markers will be measured at the beginning and end of the trial to see how well the Nutrition Package works. This could be a great opportunity for kids in need of nutritional support!
