ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific treatment involving exercises and ankle joint movements can improve the flexibility and overall performance of young basketball players who have limited ankle movement. The researchers want to see if combining special exercises (called eccentric exercises) with a technique to mobilize the ankle joint can help these athletes not only move their ankles better but also perform better in their sport.
To be part of this study, participants should be healthy young basketball players aged between 6 and 19 who have been training regularly and have a noticeable restriction in their ankle movement. They should not have any ankle pain, recent injuries, or surgeries. Those who join will participate in a five-week program that includes exercises and, for some, additional ankle treatment sessions. Throughout the study, their ankle movement and athletic performance will be measured to see how effective the treatment is. Participants will be required to provide consent before joining, and the study is currently looking for volunteers.
