ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a 3-month online program designed to help adults with overweight or obesity develop healthier eating and exercise habits. Participants will be recruited from public health centers and will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will receive guidance and support from their regular doctor through videos, while the other group will receive similar information from a different doctor. The study will look at various health factors, such as weight, blood pressure, and how well participants follow a healthy diet, to see how these lifestyle changes impact their overall health and quality of life.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults aged 18 or older with a body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 34, which means they are overweight or have grade I obesity. People who do not have internet access, have not seen a doctor in the last two years, or have certain serious mental health conditions or disabilities that limit their ability to exercise will not be able to participate. If you decide to join, you can expect to receive support and resources to help you make positive lifestyle changes, and your progress will be monitored throughout the study.
