ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how an e-booklet training program can help patients who need to use a urinary catheter feel more comfortable and confident. A urinary catheter is a tube that helps drain urine from the bladder, often used when patients have difficulty urinating due to medical conditions or surgeries. The trial is looking for participants who are between 18 and 75 years old, can use technology like phones or tablets, and are currently staying in the Urology Clinic for short-term catheterization. Participants must also be able to understand and communicate effectively.
If you join this study, you'll receive training through an e-booklet that provides helpful information about using a urinary catheter. The goal is to see if this training makes you feel more at ease and capable while using the catheter. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that individuals who have difficulty hearing, seeing, or understanding may not be eligible. Your participation could contribute to improving care for future patients facing similar situations.
