ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how music and storytelling can help young children, aged 12 to 36 months, grow in important areas like language skills, social-emotional development, and everyday skills. The study will compare two groups of children: one group will take part in fun music activities and storytelling sessions, while the other group will receive regular care that includes different types of activities like drawing and painting. Some parents will also receive guidance on how to support their child's learning at home, while others will not.
To join the study, children must be between 12 and 36 months old and enrolled full-time in a local early childhood education center. They need to attend for about 10 hours a day, five days a week. Unfortunately, children with certain developmental issues or those receiving specific treatments won't be eligible. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find out if the structured music and storytelling activities can make a positive difference in children’s development compared to standard care.
