ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a physical exercise program on patients who have undergone a procedure called catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF), a condition where the heart beats irregularly and often too fast. The researchers want to see if regular exercise can improve heart health, increase physical activity levels, and enhance the quality of life for these patients. They plan to enroll 120 participants, who will be randomly divided into two groups: one group will follow the exercise program, while the other group will not engage in any special activities.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have had catheter ablation for AF at least a year before joining. Those with serious heart conditions or who cannot safely participate in an exercise program will not be included. Participants can expect to take part in a structured exercise routine designed to help them improve their fitness, and their progress will be monitored throughout the study. Importantly, joining the trial will not interfere with their regular healthcare, and all safety measures will be in place to protect their well-being.
