ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different birth positions during the second stage of labor can affect midwifery students. The second stage of labor is when the baby is being pushed out. Researchers want to see if allowing students to practice using various positions, like standing or sitting, helps reduce their anxiety, boosts their confidence, and improves their skills and knowledge about childbirth. This study is important because it aims to prepare future midwives to be more effective and supportive during deliveries.
To participate in this trial, students must be in their third year of midwifery training and have successfully completed a course on managing normal births. Unfortunately, students who haven't passed this course will not be eligible. If selected, participants can expect to engage in simulation training that focuses on using different birth positions and receive feedback on their performance, all in a supportive learning environment. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it promises to contribute valuable insights into midwifery education.
