ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether using Virtual Reality (VR) can help improve recovery for people with wrist and hand injuries, specifically after a wrist fracture. Researchers want to see if adding VR games to regular rehabilitation exercises can make a difference in how well patients move their wrists, how they feel about their recovery, and their overall ability to use their hands. The trial will have two groups: one will receive standard rehabilitation exercises, while the other will do the same exercises but will also play VR games at the end of their sessions.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older who has suffered a wrist injury and is willing to agree to the study rules. However, if you have not had a wrist injury, or if you have certain mental, cognitive, or balance issues, you may not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to follow a rehabilitation program that could potentially include some fun VR activities aimed at making your recovery more effective. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find out if VR can provide extra benefits during rehabilitation.
