ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a smartphone app called "See Yourself Differently" (syd) that encourages healthier and more sustainable eating habits over a period of 10 weeks. The goal is to see how well people respond to the app's features, which include plant-based recipes and educational information about food. Participants will be divided into three groups: one will receive general information without using the app, the second will use the app in its current form, and the third will use the app along with additional recipes and educational messages. Researchers want to understand how these different approaches help people with their food choices and overall wellbeing.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be at least 18 years old, have their own smartphone, and have access to WiFi at home. However, people with certain health conditions, restrictive diets, or mental disabilities are not eligible to join. Throughout the trial, participants will provide information about their demographics and food choices at the beginning and end of the study. A few participants will also take part in short interviews to share their experiences with the app. This is an exciting opportunity to explore how technology can support healthier eating!
