ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special exercise program can help improve balance in older adults, especially those who are at a higher risk of falling. The program combines balance and strength exercises to help participants react better to unexpected movements and changes in their surroundings. The goal is to strengthen different systems in the body that help with balance, which is especially important for older adults who may have conditions like osteoporosis or age-related changes in balance.
To participate in this study, individuals must be older adults who struggle with balance and have a history of falling, osteoporosis, or changes in balance due to aging. However, certain health conditions may exclude someone from joining, such as severe heart issues or uncontrolled diabetes. While the trial is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to engage in exercises designed to improve their balance in a safe and supportive environment. This could be an important step toward enhancing their overall stability and reducing the risk of falls.
