ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping people quit smoking by understanding the challenges they face and finding better ways to support them. The study will work with local health organizations in Chicago to gather insights from both healthcare leaders and adults who smoke. A community advisory board will be created to guide the research, and a trial smoking cessation program will be tested to see how well it works and fits into the community.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old, currently smoke at least one cigarette a day, and be interested in quitting smoking. You should also be able to understand English and have a stable living situation in Chicago during the study. Unfortunately, if you smoke only occasionally or don’t want to quit, you wouldn’t be eligible. Throughout the trial, participants can expect support and resources aimed at helping them stop smoking, and their feedback will help shape future smoking cessation programs in the community.
