ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring two different methods for improving the soft tissue around dental implants in the front part of the mouth (the aesthetic zone) for patients with a single missing tooth. The study compares a traditional method using a tissue graft taken from the roof of the mouth with a newer approach using a collagen matrix made from animal tissue. The goal is to see if the newer method can provide similar results with less discomfort and a quicker procedure.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, have good oral hygiene, and have a single missing tooth in the front part of your upper jaw, with enough bone and gum tissue available for the implant. Participants will receive a digital scan and a surgical guide to ensure precise placement of the implant. After the implant is placed, you will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups. The study will monitor how well the soft tissue improves over time and gather feedback on how you feel during the process. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that certain health conditions, like smoking or untreated dental issues, may make you ineligible to join.
