ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping parents of children with special needs, particularly those with cerebral palsy, learn how to prevent accidents at home and respond effectively if an accident occurs. Using virtual reality technology, the project aims to raise awareness about common home accidents and provide parents with essential first aid skills. Additionally, the study will assess how well children with special needs can balance and walk, which helps identify their risk of falling at home.
To be eligible for this study, parents must speak Turkish and have a child with cerebral palsy aged 7 to 18 who is registered at a specific research center. Participants will receive training and support to improve their understanding of home safety and first aid. This is a valuable opportunity for parents to enhance their confidence in handling emergencies and keeping their children safe at home.
