ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a medication called hyaluronidase, combined with another drug called bupivacaine, affects the quality of a specific type of nerve block known as a TAB block during cesarean sections (CS). The goal is to find out if different doses of hyaluronidase can improve pain relief for women undergoing this surgery. This study is currently not recruiting participants, but when it begins, it will focus on women between the ages of 20 and 45 who are pregnant and in good health.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should not have any serious health issues, such as liver or kidney problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. If you decide to participate, you can expect to receive either the hyaluronidase with bupivacaine or just bupivacaine alone during the procedure. This study aims to better understand how these medications work together to improve pain management during cesarean sections, which is important for the comfort and recovery of new mothers.
