ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients feel about their quality of life after undergoing a less invasive weight-loss procedure called endoscopic vertical gastroplasty (GVE). Unlike traditional bariatric surgery, GVE is designed to help people who are obese lose weight with fewer risks. However, researchers want to understand better how this procedure affects patients' everyday lives and overall well-being. The study will take place at a medical center in Italy and will involve interviews with patients who have had the GVE surgery at least six months ago.
To participate, you need to be over 18 years old, have had the GVE surgery, and be comfortable using a computer or tablet for the interview, which will be done online. You also need to understand Italian well enough to follow the study instructions. If you qualify and choose to join, you'll be sharing your thoughts in a recorded conversation, which will help researchers gather information about your experiences and feelings after the procedure. This study is important as it aims to provide insights into how GVE impacts patients' lives, which can help improve care for future patients.
