ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective telerehabilitation is in helping cardiac sonographers who have work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMDs). WRMDs are common among these professionals due to the physical demands of their job. In this study, 38 cardiac sonographers with pain related to their work will be divided into two groups. One group will participate in a telerehabilitation program, which includes exercises and education about proper body mechanics to help reduce pain and improve their quality of life. The other group will receive only the education part for six weeks. Researchers will assess changes in pain, quality of life, and job satisfaction before and after the program.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be cardiac sonographers experiencing musculoskeletal pain and primarily working in adult echocardiography at public or private hospitals and clinics in Saudi Arabia. However, those with certain health issues, such as diabetes or recent surgeries, or who are pregnant, will not be included in the trial. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into how telerehabilitation can help improve the well-being of cardiac sonographers dealing with pain from their work.
