ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring two different methods of providing pain relief after shoulder surgery. The main goal is to see if a new technique called the Infraspinatus teres minor interfascial block is just as effective as a more traditional method known as the interscalene block. Both methods aim to reduce pain after arthroscopic shoulder surgery, which is important for helping patients move their shoulders sooner and recover more quickly.

To participate in this study, individuals should be between 18 and 80 years old and scheduled for shoulder surgery under general anesthesia. They should be in good health with no major bleeding issues, infections, or allergies to local anesthetics. Participants will receive either one of the pain relief techniques before their surgery, and researchers will monitor their pain levels afterward. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, so if you're interested and meet the criteria, you might have the opportunity to help improve pain management methods for future shoulder surgery patients.
