Forward Head Posture Kinesio Taping Brugger Reliefs Exercise Craniovertebral Angle

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how two different treatments can help improve forward head posture, a common issue where the head leans forward, causing strain on the neck. The researchers want to compare the effects of Brugger's Relief Exercises and Kinesio Taping on the angle of the neck where it meets the spine. The study is taking place at a physical therapy clinic in Islamabad and includes 28 participants aged between 20 and 40. To join the study, individuals must have a craniovertebral angle (a measurement of head position) of less than 50 degrees and not have any other serious neck or spine conditions.

Participants can expect to be divided into two groups: one will do Brugger's Relief Exercises while the other will receive Kinesio Taping. The trial will last for six months, and the researchers will use a special app to measure improvements in posture. Importantly, individuals with certain medical conditions or those currently receiving physical therapy are not eligible to participate. This study aims to find out which treatment is more effective for improving forward head posture, ultimately helping people feel better and reduce neck strain.
