Task Oriented Training Graded Activity Training Post Stroke Fatigue

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how two types of training—Graded Activity Training and Task-Oriented Training—can help reduce fatigue in people who have had a stroke. Fatigue is a common problem for stroke survivors, and this research aims to find ways to improve their daily lives and overall well-being. The trial is currently looking for participants between the ages of 40 and 60 who have experienced a stroke more than four months ago and have difficulty with fatigue. Eligible individuals should be able to walk independently for at least 10 meters (about 33 feet) and have a specific fatigue score that qualifies them for the study.

If you or a family member are eligible and decide to participate, you will engage in either of the training programs to see how they may help with your fatigue. It's important to note that individuals with serious health conditions, uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, or who are pregnant cannot join the trial. The goal is to learn more about managing fatigue after a stroke, which could lead to better support for patients and potentially lessen the overall burden on healthcare services.
