ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating how different types of exercise can help reduce academic stress in university students. Specifically, it compares two methods: high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which involves short bursts of intense activity, and "exercise snacks," which are quick, easy exercises that can be done throughout the day. With many university students in Chile experiencing high levels of stress due to their academic workload, this study aims to find effective ways to improve their mental health and overall well-being without taking up too much of their time.

To participate in this trial, you must be a university student in your first to fourth year at either the Metropolitan University of Education Sciences or Silva-Henriquez Catholic University. However, students who are very active, have certain health conditions, or have been diagnosed with mental health issues may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in short exercise sessions that require no more than 40 minutes a week, making it easy to fit into your busy schedule. This research hopes to provide useful tools for managing academic stress and improving students' quality of life in a way that is both affordable and time-efficient.
