ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a mobile application can help manage pressure injuries for individuals receiving care at home. Pressure injuries, also known as bedsores, often occur when a person is unable to move around much, especially in bedridden patients. The trial aims to see if nurses can provide better support and guidance to caregivers through a mobile app, making it easier to monitor and manage these injuries. This is particularly important in Turkey, where many caregivers may not have received formal training in wound care.
If you or a loved one is over 18, receiving home care, and has a pressure injury, you might be eligible to participate in this study. Participants will need to have a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile apps. The study will involve completing some forms and receiving support from nurses via the app. This could help improve the care and safety of individuals with pressure injuries while potentially reducing healthcare costs. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it's an exciting opportunity to explore how technology can enhance home care.
