ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help women with urinary incontinence, which is when someone has trouble controlling their bladder. The trial is looking at a blended approach that combines two types of telerehabilitation: synchronous (real-time online sessions with a therapist) and asynchronous (using videos and mobile apps that can be accessed anytime). The goal is to see if this blended method is as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy sessions and to find out how well patients stick to the exercise program designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles.
To participate in this study, women must be between the ages of 18 and 75, live in Greece, and have been diagnosed with stress urinary incontinence or mixed urinary incontinence. Participants should be comfortable using video calls and educational materials on their smartphones or computers. The trial is currently recruiting, and interested women can expect to engage in a supportive online environment where they will receive guidance for their pelvic floor exercises. This innovative approach aims to make it easier for women to stick with their treatment and improve their condition.
