ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two medications, lidocaine and dexmedetomidine, on reducing bleeding during a specific type of surgery called functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS). The goal is to see which medication works better for managing bleeding during the procedure.
To be eligible to participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and scheduled for an elective FESS. However, some health conditions may prevent participation, such as diabetes, bleeding disorders, or heart problems. If you join the study, you'll receive either lidocaine or dexmedetomidine during your surgery, and researchers will monitor how well each medication helps control bleeding. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it aims to improve surgical outcomes for patients undergoing this type of surgery.
