This clinical trial is studying a new treatment option called Acoustic Cluster Therapy (ACT) combined with chemotherapy for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The goal is to see if this combination is effective and safe for individuals who cannot undergo surgery to remove their cancer. It’s important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, but when it does, it will welcome adults aged 65 to 74 who have specific types of pancreatic cancer that are not operable.

To be eligible for the trial, participants must have pancreatic cancer that cannot be treated with surgery and should be able to receive a specific chemotherapy regimen known as mFOLFIRINOX. However, if someone has already received any anti-cancer treatment for pancreatic cancer, they would not be eligible for this trial. Participants in this study can expect to receive the ACT treatment along with standard chemotherapy and will be closely monitored for how well the treatment works and any side effects they may experience. This research aims to find better ways to treat pancreatic cancer, which can be quite challenging.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Not deemed suitable for primary curative surgery and have radiographic and pathological disease consistent with inoperable LAPC or borderline resectable pancreatic cancer.
• • Suitable to receive treatment with mFOLFIRINOX according to the Investigator's assessment.
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • • Any prior anti-cancer treatment for pancreatic cancer (e.g. chemotherapy, surgery, radiation). Palliative bypass procedure and bile duct stenting are allowed.
