ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain factors related to central sensitization—where the nervous system becomes overly sensitive—affect balance in women with fibromyalgia. The researchers want to understand if these sensitivity factors are different in women with fibromyalgia compared to healthy women and how they may impact balance when standing still (static balance) and when moving (dynamic balance).
To participate in this study, women aged 18 to 65 who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia can apply. Participants will be asked to give their consent to join the study and will likely undergo balance tests and assessments related to their condition. It's important to know that some individuals, such as those with certain medical conditions or recent surgeries, may not be eligible to participate. This study aims to provide insights that could help improve balance and overall quality of life for those living with fibromyalgia.
