ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at two different types of nerve blocks—iliopsoas nerve block (IPB) and femoral nerve block (FNB)—to see which one works better for managing pain after hip fracture surgeries. The goal is to find out which method helps patients feel less pain, be more satisfied with their care, and get up and moving sooner after their operation.

To join the study, participants should be between 18 and 65 years old and scheduled for specific types of hip surgery. They need to be in good health according to a standard assessment (ASA physical status I or II). However, those who refuse to participate, have bleeding disorders, allergies to the medications being tested, or cannot cooperate will not be eligible. If you decide to take part, you can expect to receive one of the two nerve blocks and be monitored for pain relief and recovery progress. This research could help improve pain management for future patients undergoing similar surgeries.
