ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking into a new online tool called RAI Support, designed to help adults diagnosed with differentiated thyroid cancer manage symptoms and improve their quality of life after receiving radioactive iodine (RAI) treatment. The researchers want to find out if patients can easily use this tool and if it helps them feel better overall compared to the usual care provided, which is an informational website about thyroid cancer.

To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with differentiated thyroid cancer, and have received RAI treatment within the last three years. Participants will be randomly assigned to either use the RAI Support tool or the usual informational website for four weeks and will share their experiences by completing two online questionnaires about their symptoms and well-being. There's also an option for a virtual interview to discuss how the website worked for them. This study aims to improve support for thyroid cancer survivors, making it easier for them to manage their health after treatment.
