ClinConnect Summary
The GRAMI-BIO study is a research project aimed at understanding systemic granulomatosis, a condition that causes inflammation in various parts of the body. Over the next ten years, researchers at Bordeaux University Hospital will recruit 150 patients who have been diagnosed with this condition. The study will not only look at how the disease progresses in these patients but also collect different types of biological samples, like blood and urine, to help with future research.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed diagnosis of systemic granulomatosis. They also need to be part of a social security program and provide written consent to join. However, individuals who are pregnant, have certain viral infections, or are already undergoing specific treatments for granulomatosis will not be able to participate. If you decide to join, you will be followed for five years after your initial enrollment, and you can expect regular check-ups to monitor your condition and collect the necessary samples.
