ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to validate the Italian version of a tool called the "Assessment of Life Habits" (LIFE-H) for measuring how children aged 5 to 13 with disabilities participate in daily activities. The LIFE-H scale is a comprehensive questionnaire that covers various life habits and social roles, helping to understand the challenges these children may face in everyday life. By using this tool, researchers aim to ensure that it accurately reflects the experiences of these children and their families in Italy.
To participate, caregivers of children with physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities between the ages of 5 and 13 can join the study, as long as they speak Italian and provide consent. Participants will fill out the questionnaire through video calls, first answering it once and then again 15 days later to check for consistency. Additionally, caregivers will complete another related questionnaire to further validate the LIFE-H scale. This study is an important step in ensuring that families in Italy have access to effective tools for assessing their children's participation in daily life.
