ClinConnect Summary
This study aims to understand how different factors affect the quality of life for transgender individuals in France over a period of 12 months. Researchers want to find out how medical care, social experiences, and personal healthcare journeys influence the well-being of transgender people. To do this, they plan to include around 1,500 transgender individuals who are receiving care from healthcare professionals or associations in France that have agreed to participate in the study.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old, identify as transgender, and live in France. They should also be able to understand and speak French, or be fluent in English, Spanish, or Portuguese. Those who are under legal protection or have expressed that they do not want to participate will not be included. Participants can expect to share their experiences and thoughts about their quality of life, which will help researchers learn more about the needs of the transgender community. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but once it begins, it will provide valuable insights into improving healthcare and support for transgender individuals.
