ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "SENSing Inner BodiLy State," is looking at how our bodies sense internal signals, like hunger and fullness, and how this affects obesity. Researchers believe that some people with obesity might have trouble recognizing these internal cues, which can impact their eating habits and overall health. By studying these connections, the trial aims to better understand how our body signals relate to body weight and how we respond to food in our environment.
To participate in this study, women aged 65 to 74 who are right-handed and diagnosed with obesity are eligible, provided they are receiving treatment at the Istituto Auxologico. Participants will be involved in assessments that explore their ability to perceive internal body signals and how these signals interact with external cues related to food. This research could provide valuable insights into obesity and help improve treatment approaches in the future. If you're interested, this trial is currently recruiting participants!
