ClinConnect Summary
The "Power of Growth" clinical trial is studying how a digital program can help early childhood educators (ECEs) improve their teamwork and skills in guiding children’s behavior. The trial will involve around 64 teams of ECEs, totaling about 200 participants. It aims to see if the ECEs feel more confident in their abilities, if children in their care show fewer behavioral challenges as reported by their parents, and how their teaching methods change after the program. The program includes online coaching and self-learning materials, like 360-degree videos of real daycare situations that can be viewed with virtual reality glasses. This intervention will last about 12 weeks, with coaching sessions every two weeks.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must work in a daycare team that is part of the study and have enough knowledge of the Finnish language. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it offers ECEs the chance to enhance their skills while supporting their well-being and teamwork. If you or someone you know is interested, this could be a great opportunity to make a positive impact on both your professional development and the children’s experiences.
